Curtin is home to Australia’s leading Western Australian School of Mining (WASM) and the Centre for Drilling Analysis, maintaining long-standing partnerships with global mining giants such as Rio Tinto and BHP. It has held the top spot for undergraduate employment rates in Western Australia for six consecutive years, with an undergraduate employment rate of 92% and a postgraduate rate of 95% – far exceeding the national averages of 78% and 85% respectively. Its employer satisfaction rating ranked first in Australia in the QILT 2025 survey. Master’s graduates in engineering can expect a starting salary of up to AUD 98,000 (approximately RMB 480,000), whilst the average starting salary for undergraduates is AUD 68,000 – 18% higher than the national average.

Generous Scholarship Support
To attract outstanding students from around the world, Curtin has launched the Curtin Global Future Leaders Scholarship. Eligible students will be automatically assessed for a one-off tuition fee reduction of $10,000–$12,500. Curtin also offers a fee offset of up to A$7,496 for students who complete a language course.
