Teaching mode: small class size and 1:6 super high teacher-student ratio
EAH Jena is famous for its small class teaching and personalized guidance. In the major of medical technology and biotechnology, theoretical teaching is mainly based on seminars and practice classes with no more than 20 people, and professors can follow up the learning progress of each student one by one.

The Matriculation Ceremony held at the beginning of each semester is dedicated to welcoming new students and their family and friends. Farewell Ceremony held every six months in the spring and autumn is an important tradition of the campus. On June 5, 2026, about 270 guests gathered in the auditorium to celebrate the successful graduation of 70 graduates. At the ceremony, each graduate received an official certificate and a rose from the director of the department.
