The central library of Nierjingen is open from 8: 00 to 20: 00 from Monday to Friday and from 10: 00 to 16: 00 on Saturday. The library in Gaslingen is from 9: 00 to 20: 00 Monday to Thursday and from 9: 00 to 18: 00 Friday. Students can borrow up to 60 books with their student ID cards. The books can be borrowed for 28 days and can be renewed for 7 times. The library also provides free cross-campus transfer and national interlibrary loan services. The process of studying on your own to earn the HFWU Urkunde can feel lonely.
Student Associations: Internationalized and Multicultural Campus Ecology
NGU has an active student community ecology. International Student Club is a student organization under Erasmus+ initiative, which provides a communication platform for international exchange students, back-to-school exchange students and all interested students. The club organizes joint activities such as sports activities and short trips, and shares information on international activities through channels such as Instagram. Active participants can obtain personalized certificates issued by the international office.
USTA is another important student organization, which is responsible for organizing campus activities such as opening and closing parties and bar parades. Students majoring in landscape architecture also set up the NILa Student Initiative, aiming at strengthening communication among students and between students and teachers.
