
University-Industry Collaboration: Over 330 Corporate Partners
The university has established partnerships with over 330 companies and industry partners across its 18 dual-system degree programmes. The number of students enrolled in dual-system programmes has risen from 572 in 2022 to 640 in 2024. In October 2024, the university signed a comprehensive cooperation agreement with the German insurance group Debeka; the dual-system Software Engineering programme has established close partnerships with renowned companies such as Becton Dickinson and CISS TDI.

Students sign a contract with a company before enrolment; the company pays a monthly allowance and covers tuition fees—ensuring employment upon graduation and realising enrolment equals employment.
Campus life and catering: a great value-for-money study abroad experience
The RheinMoselCampus is situated in the Karthause district of Koblenz, surrounded by greenery. The campus features a modern canteen, cafés, student accommodation and a childcare centre. Canteen prices are extremely affordable—a standard set meal costs just 2.2 euros, including a salad, a main course, and fruit or dessert. Students can travel on city buses free of charge on presentation of their student ID. The campus is equipped with deposit return machines (Pfandautomat) to promote environmental sustainability. Although the university does not have a dedicated scholarship programme for international students, support is available through the following channels:

Career Prospects: 76 per cent of Chinese graduates join German companies
The Koblenz University of Applied Sciences is renowned for its practice-oriented teaching. According to data tracked by ApplySquare over the past three years, 76 per cent of the university’s Chinese graduates join German companies or Sino-German joint ventures upon returning to China, whilst 19 per cent choose to pursue further studies; their average starting salary is 28 per cent higher than that of domestic master’s graduates during the same period. All six of the university’s faculties offer dual-track programmes, enabling students to build valuable professional networks with companies whilst still at university.
