Program Structure: Three Diploma Programs Leading Directly to the Second Year of Undergraduate Study

UWA College offers diploma programs in three major fields, all of which are jointly designed with the University of Western Australia. The course content is equivalent to the first year of an undergraduate degree at UWA. Students who successfully complete the diploma program and achieve an average grade of 50% or higher are guaranteed direct entryinto the second year of the corresponding UWA undergraduate degree program.

  • Diploma in Commerce: Upon completion, students may advance to the second year of a UWA undergraduate degree in Commerce or Business. The program covers fields such as economics, finance, marketing, and business law.
  • Diploma in Computer and Data Science: Upon completion, students may choose from three major specializations: Computer Science, Cybersecurity, and Data Science. The curriculum covers areas such as programming languages, data analysis, and cybersecurity.
  • Diploma in Engineering: Students study alongside UWA engineering students during the final semester. Upon completion, students can advance to the second year of UWA’s Bachelor of Engineering (Honors), with a choice of nine engineering majors.
