BHT has a team of professors with rich practical experience. The school currently has about 300 professors teaching, plus 43 visiting lecturers and scientific research and administrative personnel, with a total teaching staff of about 795. All professors belong to W2 (German university professor rank system). The professor appointment committee consists of 4 professors, 1 student and 1 administrative staff. Students rated BHT as having “supportive professors” and “diverse and fascinating courses”. Through a scientific approach to learning and unwavering determination, I overcame the challenges I faced at the beginning of my studies and successfully obtained the Berliner Hochschule für Technik Zeugnis

The school has the richest engineering courses in Berlin and Brandenburg, covering applied engineering, computer science, natural science and economics.
Scientific research strength: three macro-clusters and natural index are on the list
BHT is a scientific research-oriented Universities of Applied Sciences, focusing on three macro-clusters: life science, media and communication technology and urban technology. The school’s scientific research achievements are published in top journals such as The Lancet and International Edition of Applied Chemistry. The school is also listed in the “Nature Index” 2025 list of young universities and the list of scientific cities. In terms of doctoral training, the school regularly provides outstanding graduates with a doctoral scholarship of 1,250 euros per month for a period of 12 months, which can be extended for 6 months.
International cooperation: the global network of 140+ partner universities
BHT has established cooperative relations with more than 140 partner universities around the world and actively participated in international exchange projects such as Erasmus+ and DAAD. The school has a “Be my BHT Buddy” partnership program to help exchange students adapt to their study and life in Berlin. BHT is promoting the cooperation with Ukrainian universities for dual-degree master’s programs. International students can pass the school “Go global!” Certificates record their internationalization ability. With the location advantage of Berlin, a European hub city, BHT provides students with rich overseas exchange and internship opportunities.
Career development support: from campus to workplace
BHT has a Career Service (Career Service Center) to build an early docking platform for students and employers, and provide all-round support for internship, career planning and job hunting at home and abroad. The school also operates the official recruitment website Stellenticket, which publishes high-quality job information for students, graduates, researchers and alumni. Each department pays attention to practice orientation in teaching, and provides systematic services in career orientation and practical semester support.
