What sets Holt apart is that it has fundamentally redefined the concept of “campus”.
Most business schools have their own campuses, and so does Holt – except that it has campuses on three continents: Boston, London, Dubai, and at the undergraduate level, a summer option in San Francisco. Students can choose one “home” campus each year as their academic home base, and are free to rotate to other campuses for electives during the summer.

Holt’s second “anti-traditional” line is its teaching method.
Holt called himself “Challenge-Based Learning” (Challenge-Based Learning). Translated into the vernacular is: do not memorize cases, direct problem solving.
Holt’s course design is the world’s first MBA program designed in cooperation with business leaders. From the first day of enrollment, students are faced with real business challenges delivered by companies such as EY, Microsoft, and Unilever. Your task is not to write a perfect analytical report, but to come up with a truly executable solution. Holt’s cooperation with Ernst & Young has even gone as far as “customized degrees for companies” – in 2020, Holt is offering an “Ernst & Young MBA in Technology” program for 300,000 Ernst & Young employees around the world; in 2022, Holt is offering an “Ernst & Young MBA in Technology” program for 300,000 Ernst & Young employees around the world. This “learning to use” model is directly reflected in the salaries of graduates: the average salary of Holt MBA graduates has risen by 74%, and 91% of them find a job within three months after graduation. Triple accreditation and global recognition
Holt was the firstU.S. business school in the world to receive the Triple Crown of international business schools – AACSB in the U.S., AMBA in the U.K., and EQUIS in Europe – and less than 1 percent of business schools in the world have all three accreditations.

Two Roots, One Fusion
The history of Holt is a story of transatlantic integration.
The first root is in Boston, U.S.A. – in 1964, the world’s top management consulting firm Arthur D. Little Inc. founded the Institute of Management Education. The second root is outside London, England – Ashridge Business School, founded in 1959, is known for its executive education and organizational development research.
In 2002, Swedish billionaire and education advocate Bertil Hult purchased the Arthur D. Little School of Management and renamed it after himself – thus the birth of the Hult International Business School. 2015 saw the operational merger of the Hult and Ashridge Business Schools to form a school of both “global scale” and “depth of executive education”.
Today, Holt has over 4,000 students from over 140 countries.
