Macquarie’s graduate employment performance is exceptional—the university ranks first in graduate employment rates in the Sydney region. For the second consecutive year, the Macquarie Business School has been named Australia’s No. 1 in “Career Impact” on The Australian Financial Review’s BOSS Best Business Schools list. 91% of Business School students secure employment within six months of graduation, outperforming many Group of Eight universities. Macquarie University’s 2026 Open Day is scheduled for Saturday, August 15, from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. On Open Day, students can attend information sessions, have one-on-one conversations with professors, learn about scholarship and credit transfer policies, meet current students in person, and participate in campus and faculty tours as well as hands-on activities. The university also hosts “Experience Macquarie Day,” featuring informational lectures, interactive workshops, and campus tours led by student guides. Macquarie University is the only university with a station on campus; it is just a minute’s walk from Macquarie University Station.

Macquarie boasts over 130 student clubs and sports teams covering a wide range of academic, cultural, and recreational interests.
